Anatomy, Physiology
& Pathology.

The college offers two separate courses:

  1. A Foundation Course in Anatomy Physiology and Pathology, consisting of seven weekends over the course of a year.
  2. A short Pathology course consisting of three days in February/March each year, intended for those who have already covered Anatomy and Physiology (but have not covered Pathology), or for those who wish to deepen their understanding of Pathology.

Foundation Course.

The purpose of this course is to provide a firm foundation in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology in preparation for attendance of the full professional training in Cranio-Sacral Therapy. It is also suitable for practitioners in a wide range of other alternative disciplines.

Those who do not have a previous background in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology will need to attend this course (or a suitable equivalent). This can be done either before the Cranio-Sacral Therapy course or in conjunction with the first year of the two-year course.  This course consists of seven weekends from October to May with a substantial amount of course work in between. Successful completion of the final exam entitles the student to a Certificate and eligibility to attend the Cranio-Sacral Therapy course.

The course is presented in a lively, stimulating, and inspiring manner, with an emphasis on practical understanding of the human body in holistic terms, rather than mere theoretical learning.

Objectives:

The objectives of this course are to provide a clear and thorough practical working knowledge of the Anatomy and Physiology of all the major systems within the human body, together with an understanding of Pathology both from an orthodox and holistic perspective.

This provides a solid grounding for healthcare practitioners in a variety of different disciplines.
